Advanced Dermatology and Cosmetic Surgery is seeking an Administrative Medical Assistant to triage nurse calls, coordinate with providers, and support clinical operations in a fast-paced dermatology practice.

Qualifications

• Experience triaging patient calls and coordinating with providers.
• Knowledge of HIPAA and patient confidentiality.
• Strong verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Monitors and responds to triage calls on the nurse line.
• Talks with patients and directs concerns to the appropriate provider.
• Assesses urgency of patient needing care and schedules as needed.
• Maintains accurate notes in EMA for patient interactions.
• Communicates biopsy and lab results to patients.
• Obtains prior authorizations for biologics.
• Arranges patient appointments and scans information into the chart.
• Manages prescription renewals and reports as required.
• Distributes electronic faxes and prioritizes tasks to ensure timely service.
• Adheres to clinic policies and collaborates with staff and providers.
