Position Title

Administrative Management Technology (AMT) Adjunct Faculty (Part-Time)

Responsibilities

• Teach college‑level courses in‑person, hybrid, or online, including courses on computer applications leading to MOS 2019 credentials, general office skills, business communications, and administrative management concepts.
• Maintain currency in teaching disciplines and trends in community college education.
• Write syllabi, exams, and develop learning strategies, curriculum, and assessments.
• Actively participate in departmental communication and collaborate with faculty and students of diverse backgrounds.
• Possibly perform other duties as assigned and support emergency declarations as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in administrative support, management, business administration, or related field; Master’s degree with 18 graduate semester hours in a related discipline.
• Knowledge of MS Office 2019/365 and Windows 10.
• Two years of related occupational experience in business, management, or administrative support.
• Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills; ability to write syllabi and exams; ability to develop learning strategies, curriculum, and assessments.

Additional Considerations

• MOS certifications issued in 2010 or later and office management experience.
• Experience using technology in the classroom and teaching online.
• Experience teaching at the community college level.
