Administrative Executive Associate

Under the general direction of the Vice President for Enrollment Management and Student Affairs, the Administrative Executive Associate (Higher Education Associate) provides executive-level administrative, operational, and strategic support to advance the division's goals and priorities. The incumbent exercises independent judgment and serves as a key liaison among campus stakeholders, CUNY offices, and external partners.
In addition to the CUNY Title Overview, key duties include but are not limited to:
Bachelor's Degree and six years' relevant experience required.
Executive Support : 3+ years of experience supporting senior-level executives preferred.
Experience handling highly confidential information and materials required.
Familiarity with data privacy regulations such as FERPA and/or HIPAA is a strong plus.
Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Word, Teams, Excel) required.
Advanced MS Excel skills a plus.
Experience utilizing online Student Information Systems (SIS), enterprise-level procurement/purchasing systems, and student or client coordinated care platforms
Must possess excellent critical thinking, oral and written communication skills, and the ability to exercise discretionary judgment. Strong problem-solving, leadership, time management, and presentation skills are required.
Supports a Campus or University Executive in a variety of activities and initiatives as a key team member.
