Job summary

Aston Carter is seeking a Recruiting Coordinator to support a fast-paced recruiting team in Arlington, VA. This contract role focuses on scheduling interviews, coordinating communications with candidates, and ensuring a smooth interview-to-offer process in a fully onsite setting.

  • Experience supporting scheduling, administrative, and coordination tasks in a professional environment.
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and recruiting tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule interviews and phone screens with candidates and hiring teams, coordinating travel as needed.
  • Update candidate records and job postings in ATS and recruiting systems.
  • Confirm new hires in recruiting systems and support administrative steps.
  • Provide timely follow-up to candidates regarding recruiting status via phone and email.
  • Track recruiting activities and prepare weekly reports on pipeline progress.
  • Coordinate post-interview debrief meetings and distribute materials.
  • Identify opportunities to improve candidate experience and scheduling efficiency.
  • Assist with additional recruiting activities and projects as needed.

Job description

The Recruiting Coordinator works closely with a team of recruiters in a fast-paced recruiting organization to support the full interview and hiring process. This role manages day-to-day recruiting activities, coordinates interviews and candidate communications, and helps create a positive and efficient experience for every candidate. The position is ideal for someone who enjoys organizing complex schedules, building strong relationships, and contributing to the growth of a high-performing team. Role is 100% onsite in Arlington, VA Responsibilities

  • - Schedule interviews and phone screens by working directly with candidates and hiring teams, including arranging travel for visiting candidates when needed.
  • - Update candidate records and job postings in applicant tracking and recruiting systems to ensure accurate and current information.
  • - Confirm new hires in the recruiting systems and support the administrative steps required to complete the hiring process.
  • - Provide timely follow-up correspondence to candidates regarding their recruiting status through phone and email.
  • - Track recruiting activities and prepare weekly reports on candidate status and pipeline progress.
  • - Coordinate post-interview debrief meetings and distribute debrief materials to hiring teams.
  • - Identify opportunities to improve the candidate experience and increase scheduling efficiency across the recruiting process.
  • - Assist with additional recruiting activities and projects as needed to support the broader talent acquisition team.
Essential Skills
  • - At least 1 year of experience as a recruiting coordinator or in a coordination-focused role.
  • - Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • - Bachelors degree required
  • - Experience supporting scheduling, administrative, and coordination tasks in a professional environment.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Arlington, VA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $26.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
