Description

The Kimberly and Eric J. Waldman Department of Dermatology at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai is dedicated to delivering superior, comprehensive dermatologic care that exceeds patient expectations, and to advancing the science of dermatology through research and education.

Responsibilities

  • Answer routine and specific inquiries; direct complex inquiries to appropriate departments.
  • Assist in maintaining and monitoring the budget and grant allocations; prepare related documents.
  • Handle human resources and payroll transactions; coordinate with HR and payroll departments.
  • Ensure supplies are stocked; manage inventory and collaborate with Purchasing for procurement.
  • Plan and coordinate forums, conferences, and meetings; prepare informational materials and minutes.
  • Develop and revise informational flyers, brochures, and mailings.
  • Research and compile information for reports; prepare statistical data and reports.
  • Review submitted materials for completeness and accuracy.
  • Assist with grant applications, surveys, and special projects.
  • Mentor and train new staff; supervise administrative support staff.
  • Coordinate administrative coverage and assign work tasks.
  • Perform other related duties as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years related administrative or business experience; supervisory experience preferred.

Compensation

The salary range for this role is $64,526.72 - $74,250 annually, depending on experience and education. This range complies with NYC salary transparency laws and does not include bonuses or other compensation forms.
