Job summary

National Youth Advocate Program seeks a full-time Administrative Coordinator to support the Care Management Team in Columbus, Ohio. In-office schedule is Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm with a compensation of $48,000 per year.

The role involves maintaining administrative systems, coordinating conferences and training, and providing supervision to staff as assigned by the Director.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required; some college preferred.
  • Three years of administrative work experience preferred.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Pro and Microsoft Office (Excel and Word).
  • Proficient use of desktop/laptop computers, smartphones, printers and copiers.

Responsibilities

  • Perform administrative tasks to support the department, unit or program area.
  • Assist with office management, purchasing coordination and contract purchasing/payments.
  • Enter program information into databases and maintain records.
  • Provide quarterly/annual reports on all children served by the agency.
  • Attend meetings, record and distribute minutes as directed by the Director.
  • Schedule and coordinate office events, conferences and trainings.
  • Ensure office supplies are stocked and equipment is functioning.

Some college preferred.3 years of administrative work experience preferred.Previous experience and proficiency in the use of various office machines, including computers.Basic bookkeeping skills and experience.Proficiency with Adobe Pro and Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word.Proficient use of desktop and laptop computers, smart phones and tablets, printers, fax machines and photocopiers as well as software including word processing, spreadsheet and database programs.Other SkillsExcellent customer service and communication skills.Sensitivity to cultural diversity.Enthusiastic self-starter.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Strong organizational and administrative skills.Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills.Works well independently and as a team member.Driving and Vehicle RequirementsValid driver’s licenseReliable personal transportationGood driving recordMinimum automobile insurance coverage of $100,00/$300,000 bodily injury liabilityReady to make an impact?
