Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary administrative resource and first point of contact for Academic Affairs.
  • Provide admin support to the Chief Academic Officer and assist deans with scheduling, travel, budget tracking, and special projects.
  • Maintain accurate academic records, policies, forms, and resources.
  • Coordinate faculty recruitment, onboarding, and employment processes with HR; manage faculty files and adjunct contracts.
  • Plan and coordinate Academic Affairs meetings, programs, and major events (Commencement, Student Awards, Orientation).
  • Manage course scheduling, classroom assignments, and scheduling software.
  • Assist with curriculum updates, transcript reviews, and recurring academic processes.
  • Communicate with external partners (online bookstore) and support ongoing operations.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and contribute to a positive culture.
  • Work closely with HR, Financial Aid/Billing, and the Office of the President.

This position serves as a central member of the Academic Affairs team, providing comprehensive administrative and operational support to the Registrar’s Office and Chief Academic Officer while coordinating initiatives that enhance the faculty, student, and campus experience. The successful candidate is a proactive problem solver who enjoys managing multiple priorities, building relationships, and ensuring the smooth operation of academic programs and events.## Primary ResponsibilitiesThe Academic Affairs Administrative Coordinator provides comprehensive administrative, operational, and project support across the division of Academic Affairs.
