Responsibilities

  • Serve as the College’s representative for capital projects, renovations, and remodel work.
  • Manage projects from concept through design, construction, and closeout.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and consultants to ensure alignment with institutional standards.
  • Develop and manage project scopes, schedules, and budgets.
  • Oversee construction activities, including site visits, inspections, and quality assurance.
  • Review contractor pay applications, change orders, and project documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement requirements and contract terms.
  • Plan and manage renovation and remodel projects within occupied facilities, including phasing and minimizing disruption to campus operations.
  • Coordinate with campus stakeholders to define project scope, timing, and operational impacts.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable local, state, and federal regulations, including safety and accessibility requirements.
  • Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Provide regular project updates, reports, and presentations to administration.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Director of Facilities to ensure alignment between project delivery and ongoing operations.
  • Assist in development and execution of the College’s capital improvement plan.
  • Serve on committees as assigned.
