The Chronicle Of Higher Education, Inc. is seeking an Administrative Coordinator to provide essential support to the Student Ombuds and Chief of Staff. Responsibilities include managing travel arrangements, clerical duties, and maintaining office records.
Candidates should possess an Associate’s degree and three years of administrative experience. Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently are essential. The role may require occasional evening or weekend work, as well as travel across the university campus.
Provides administrative support to the Student Ombuds and Chief of Staff. The Administrative Coordinator will be responsible for completing and coordinating travel, purchase requisitions, and providing general support for the daily operations of the Office of the Student Ombuds.
Associate’s degree in business administration, office systems technology, or closely related field, or three years of administrative experience including or supplemented by one year of office management experience.

Work is generally performed in an office environment, with frequent interruptions and irregularities in the work schedule. No special coordination beyond that used for normal mobility and handling of everyday objects and materials is needed to perform the job. Frequent travel within the university campus is required. Occasional early morning, evening and/or weekend work may be required.
