We are hiring for an Administrative Coordinator at RHA Health Services.
Location: North Carolina, Georgia, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, and New Jersey. Pay: $18.00 / hour. Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. Type: Regular.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist with data entry and record management: upload paper medical records daily following required formats, document Release and Disclosure forms, complete data entry for admissions, discharges, medical record updates, and other individual‑served information, generate and review reports as needed.
- Ensure billing protocols are followed within required timeframes.
- Program Assistants: maintain service authorization entries and provide caseload and authorization management reports to the Director.
- Assist with customer service: answer telephone calls, greet and assist customers, vendors, and co‑workers; demonstrate appropriate phone etiquette; assess information and provide accurate agency and service information; take and forward messages.
- Coordinate financial data and performance: ensure daily deposits are completed, oversee petty‑cash funds, prepare and maintain petty‑cash documentation, maintain agency credit‑card security, reconcile credit cards.
- Perform administrative responsibilities: general building maintenance, ordering and maintaining office supplies, operating office equipment, risk management (workers’ compensation, OSHA, safety inspections), office orientation for new employees, typing documents, forms, and spreadsheets, faxing documents, ensuring correct postage on outgoing mail, distributing incoming mail.
- Participate on committees and unit/community meetings as required; receive ongoing training and skill enhancement through conferences, seminars, and relevant training.
- Demonstrate flexibility and commitment to meeting unit/consumer needs.
Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Two (2) years of medical office experience.
- Proficient with computers and Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Pre‑employment screening: criminal background check (OIG exclusions database, Child Abuse Registry, Offenders Against Individuals with Developmental Disabilities), drug testing, education verification, and other credentialing as required.
- Proof of employment history or references (if required).
- For positions requiring driving: proof of driver’s license, driver’s insurance, and vehicle ownership.
