Job summary

Surveying And Mapping, LLC (SAM) is seeking an Administrative Coordinator to organize and coordinate office administration and procedures, ensuring organizational effectiveness and efficiency. SAM offers geospatial and construction-phase solutions through its nationwide team.

You will support calls, greet visitors, manage new employee setup, travel arrangements, expense reporting, and assist with Salesforce tasks while partnering with HR, IT, Accounting and Safety.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of administrative experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office with Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook.
  • Longevity in prior employment.
  • Strong communication, presentation, organization, multitasking and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
  • Ability to maintain privacy and confidentiality.
  • Experience with Concur Travel and Expense preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide general administrative support
  • Answer incoming calls and direct to appropriate party
  • Greet visitors
  • Responsible for administrative setup of new employees
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
  • Maintain office and breakroom inventory
  • Process incoming and outgoing mail and express mail shipments
  • Assist with securing travel arrangements and expense reporting
  • Provide support including, but not limited to, filing, copying, data entry, spreadsheet maintenance and Salesforce database tasks as needed
  • Plan and execute regular company events
  • Coordinate food orders for employee meetings
  • Coordinate and partner with HR, Marketing, IT, Accounting and Safety departments to provide local support
  • Contract with office vendors and service providers
  • Provide writing and editing support for a variety of business communications and support proposal efforts
  • Assist with facility projects such as internal moves and reconfigurations
  • Place small furniture orders

What You Bring to SAM
