Job summary

Surveying And Mapping, LLC (SAM) is seeking a Crew Coordinator to plan and schedule field survey personnel and equipment across project sites. You will work under senior management to direct crews, adapt to new technologies, and ensure precise field data collection.

Requirements include at least 3 years as a crew coordinator, a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license, and strong written and verbal communication. Flexibility for nights, weekends, and travel is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Crew Coordinator managing a minimum of 10 crews.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be able to work flexible hours (nights, weekends and out of town work possible).
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record required.

Your Impact at SAM

• Assists department personnel with planning and scheduling of field survey personnel and equipment
• Manages, with senior management oversight, the selection, placement, training, appraisal, safety and discipline of assigned employees
• Understands the operations of field survey equipment and has the ability to adapt to new equipment and technologies
• Oversees the direction of field activities of the crews set forth by the field supervisors and crew chiefs
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel

What You Bring to SAM

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Crew Coordinator managing a minimum of 10 crews
• High School Diploma required; some college a plus
• Must be able to work flexible hours (nights, weekends and out of town work possible)
• Valid driver's license and good driving record required
