  • Assist with creating and maintaining EMR policies and procedures.
  • Schedule clinic appointments as needed.
  • Enter PA SIIS forms.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Job description

Provides administrative services to the Personal Health Division by overseeing and coordinating the daily operations of the clinic.

  • Coordinating and monitoring the Homebound Immunization Program, including coordination of GHR nurse, when needed
  • Creating and maintaining Homebound tracking system to use as advising tool
  • Maintaining the EzEMRx System and Acuity, i.e., adding /disabling users, training, troubleshooting, and liaising with Helpdesk
  • Assisting with creating and maintaining EMR policies and procedures
  • Scheduling clinic appointments, as needed
  • Entering PA SIIS forms
  • Other duties as required
  • High School graduate or equivalent
  • Two (2) years of clerical experience working in an office environment
  • Proficiency with computer processes and programs, i.e., MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • The ability to work independently

  • A clear understanding of basic management principles
  • Strong oral and written communication skillsValid driver’s license and ability to pass a background check

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this position, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, utilize a keyboard, sit, bend at the waist, and talk or hear. Occasionally, the employee will need to reach or work with arms above shoulder height, kneel, stoop, drive, crouch or squat, crawl, drive, climb stairs, twist or rotate at the waist while working; push, lift or carry items.

Work Environment:
  • Office setting.

The selected candidate will be required to obtain, at their own expense, 3 forms of clearance, including PA State Police Criminal History Record Check; PA Child Abuse History; and FBI Criminal History Background Check including finger printing prior to employment.

Delaware County Health Department requires all employees be up to date for their COVID-19 vaccination per CDC guidelines. Proof of vaccination must be submitted before a candidate's start date if hired.
