Description of Work Reporting to the Administrative Officer III, this position will independently perform various administrative and personnel functions and is responsible for managing highly sensitive and confidential information. Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Salary Range: $31,200 - $51,249

The Division of Institutions manages the daily operations of all state-operated prison facilities across North Carolina. Facilities are categorized by custody levels (minimum, medium, close) and house individuals serving sentences for felony convictions. The division provides safety, security, and rehabilitative services through trained custody staff, program facilitators, and administrative personnel.
Pender Correctional Institution is located in Burgaw, North Carolina and houses up to 750 male offenders in a medium custody facility.
