Foothills Correctional Institution is a close/minimum custody Male facility housing 712 single cells.This position is located in the Administration/HR Department and reports to the HR Technician I. This position performs a variety of administrative, clerical, and office support duties. The position requires knowledge of office and work unit policies and procedures to effectively communicate and provide information related to Human Resources, hiring packages, payroll, and employee benefits. Duties may include preparing documents and reports; composing correspondence, memos, and letters; utilizing office technology; compiling and maintaining records; organizing and maintaining files; posting information; greeting, referring, and assisting visitors, clients, and staff; distributing mail; and performing photocopying and other general office support duties.The key duties of an Administrative Associate II often include but are not limited to:• Serve as backup to the Human Resources Technician I.• Work in FIORI (formerly known as BEACON) and Workday system.• Work effectively in a fast-paced environment while prioritizing and re-prioritizing daily tasks and meeting daily, weekly, and monthly deadlines.• Process candidates for vacant positions from the interview stage through New Employee Orientation.• Process and maintain FMLA-related documentation and records.• Facilitate Benefits and Open Enrollment, respond to employee questions, and attend required training sessions.• Participate in recruitment activities, scheduling candidates and processing applicants for interviews.• Process time entries and payroll-related reports, respond to payroll inquiries, and assist with resolving payroll issues.• Maintain confidential employee files, personnel records and HR documentation• Prepare correspondence, reports, spreadsheets, and forms.• Prepare weekly and monthly report for Administrative Services• Update Administrative Services organization chart, Standard Operating Procedures and assist with preparation for audit.Knowledge Skills and Abilities/Management PreferencesSalary Grade Range: $31,200.00 - $51,249.00Candidates now meet the minimum qualifications of a position if they meet the minimum education and experience listed on the vacancy announcement.The Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)/ Management Preferences are not required.
