Job summary

Samaritan's Purse in Charlotte, NC is seeking an Administrative Associate to support Hispanic Ministries with travel, expense reporting, data entry and general administration during a busy season of events and disaster responses.

This role requires bilingual English and Spanish, superb organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects with deadlines. Part-time schedule Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays through March 2027, on-site work.

Samaritan's Purseis seeking a highly organized and proactive bi-lingual Administrative Associate to provide essential support for Hispanic Ministries. This position will support travel, expense reporting, data entry, and administration for the Hispanic Ministries team during a busy season of events and increased disaster responses.

A day in the life of an Administrative Associate

In the role of an Administrative Associate, you will have the opportunity to:

• Works with Travel department to initiate travel itineraries for Hispanic Ministry staff and contractors as they respond to US Disasters to mobilize the Hispanic church.25%
• Supports travel expense reporting for staff and Hispanic Ministry Contractors.Liaise with travel and finance department at Samaritans Purse and BGEA. 25%
• Works with Legal Department to create Ministry Partner agreements as well as update contracts for contractors, vendors, and speakers for Hispanic Ministry activities.15%
• Proactively supports the Hispanic Ministries staff team in events and projects as needed, assists in additional administrative areas to further the mission of Hispanic Ministries.15%
• Creates reports from Hispanic Ministry activities that summarize the ministry impact.10%
• Other duties may be assigned that are not specifically identified within the content of the job description.
• Excellent organizational and administrative skills
• Strong written communication in English and Spanish, required
• Familiarity with digital tools (Excel, BOX, WhatsApp groups, basic social media)
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines at once
• Understanding of Hispanic church culture in the USA (preferred)
