Pellissippi State Community College is seeking an Administrative Assistant V to support daily operations of the Tennessee Small Business Development Center under grant terms. This role interacts with clients, maintains records, and assists with events and public relations.

Pay Rate: $38,780-$47,460/per year. Pay will be determined based on related work experience above required. To be considered in determining pay, all related work experience must be listed on the application.

The overall purpose of this job is to coordinate daily operations of the Tennessee Small Business Development Center and support the activities of the Director and professional staff. The Administrative Assistant V performs complex administrative clerical functions, promotes center outreach, and interacts with small business clients in conjunction with the SBA contract terms and conditions. This position requires local travel and designated work location is 3M.
Associates degree required; business discipline preferred. Three years administrative office experience. Part-time work experience is calculated at 50% credit of full-time work experience.

The position is primarily sedentary. Occasional travel may be required. Manual dexterity is required. The bonafide essential job functions requiring sight, hearing, ability to detect color, reading fine print and computer monitors, communicating over the telephone, creating printed materials and digital media. Standard office environment settings are required.
