$1,853.02 bi-weekly. Actual salary negotiable based on experience and qualifications. Government Center/Viera. Work schedule is Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Performs skilled professional work assisting the Natural Resources Management Office Director in the operation, management, and planning of the organization and coordinating meetings and agendas. Work includes planning and coordinating the administrative and office support functions necessary for the efficient operation of the Natural Resources Department and serving as a liaison to the subordinate sections and outside agencies. May supervise clerical staff.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Office Management, Organizational Management, Accounting, Political Science, or a closely related field PLUS one (1) year of administrative experience. Additional qualifying education and/or experience may be substituted on a year for year basis. Experience or education relating to Natural Resources Management is preferred. Experience with Success Factors is preferred. Experience as administrative staff to a volunteer advisory committee is preferred.
Must possess, or obtain prior to employment, a valid Florida Driver's license and maintain said license during the term of employment. In the event of a hurricane, major storm, natural or man-made disaster that may threaten the area, the employee will be required to perform emergency duties as directed.
