The Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing administrative assistance to all departments within the Enrollment Management Division to include the areas of correspondence, records, data entry, mailings and other tasks as assigned.

Physical Demand:
The work is sedentary. Typically, the employee may sit comfortably to do the work. However, there may be some walking, standing, bending, carrying items such as papers, books, small parts, boxes, packages, etc. Some repetitive motions are performed in typing and word processing. There may be times when medium lifting is required of items ranging in weight up to about 30 lbs.
Working Conditions:
General office and campus conditions. The work environment involves everyday risks or discomforts, which require normal safety precautions typical of such places as offices, meetings, classrooms and libraries. The work area is adequately lit, heated and ventilated. The work environment for an employee in this job is a daily indoor office environment, typical office setting with equipment noise and frequent interruptions.
