Job summary

Pediatric Specialty Care is seeking an organized Administrative Assistant to join our team in a full-time role. The position supports reception, scheduling, HR onboarding and office administration in a healthcare-based environment.

This role requires strong communication, attention to detail, and a commitment to our mission while working 8:00am - 4:00pm, Monday through Friday. Benefits include health, 401K, PTO and EAP programs.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Preferred business education or associates degree.
  • Two years as Administrative Assistant, preferably in a health care setting, with strong word processing, filing, and data reporting.
  • Maturity, diplomacy and ability to work well with others are required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and adherence to standards.

Responsibilities

  • Answer phones and greet visitors in a friendly manner and refer to staff as needed.
  • Record and coordinate appointments, interviews and meetings.
  • Sort and deliver mail daily.
  • Maintain organized personnel files, receipts books and regulation binders.
  • Maintain inventory of office supplies and reorder with approval.
  • Assist HR Manager with applicant outreach and onboarding processes.
  • Help facilitate new employee orientation.

Pediatric Specialty Care is seeking an organized and detail-oriented team player to join our team as an Administrative Assistant.

8:00am - 4:00 pm Monday - Friday

Responsibilities

As an Administrative Assistant at Pediatric Specialty Care you will:

  • Answer phones and greets visitors in a friendly manner; ensures that needs of caller or visitorare responded to effectively or by referral to appropriate staff.

  • Record and coordinate appointments, job interviews, and meetings as directed.

  • Sort and deliver mail daily.

  • Maintain organized and up-to-date personnel files, receipts books, regulation binders and other requireddocuments as needed.

  • Maintain inventory of office supplies and reorders from designated vendor as needed withapproval of appropriate department head and/or Administrator.
  • Assist the Human Resources Manager in reaching out to job applicants and current employees concerning interviews, the onboarding process, and compliance items.
  • Help facilitate new employee orientation.

Base wages increase with experience!

Qualifications

Administrative Assistant:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.

  • Preferred business education or associates degree.

  • Must have two (2) years as an Administrative Assistant preferably in a health care setting. Must have a good knowledge of office support functions including word processing, filing, composing a variety of business documents, reception and researching, compiling and summarizing data for reports.

  • Qualities of maturity, diplomacy, and ability to work well with others required.

  • Ability to communicate well verbally and in writing required. Ability to perform tasks to established standards of excellence required.

  • Demonstrated willingness to uphold the vision and mission of the company by following the core values of Integrity, Teamwork, Passion for Excellence and Reverence for the Individual is required.
