Mothers to Daughters is a for-impact organization dedicated to empowering women economically, intellectually, and socially through intergenerational mentorship and leadership development. Position Overview

The Administrative & Program Assistant will play a vital role in ensuring smooth operational execution and day-to-day coordination for the Founder, Directors, and Board Members. This person will also liaise with program participants, ensuring high-quality support and exceptional member experiences.

We’re seeking a proactive, organized, and open-minded individual who thrives in dynamic environments and brings creativity, professionalism, and empathy to every interaction.

Key Responsibilities

Administrative Support

Manage calendars, meeting logistics, and travel coordination for the Founder and Board members.

Prepare correspondence, meeting notes, and follow-up communications.

Maintain organized records, databases, and digital files.

Operational & Project Management

Support project timelines and deliverables, ensuring smooth communication among team members and stakeholders.

Assist with event coordination, both virtual and in-person, including vendor communications, logistics, and presentation materials.

Track action items from leadership and program meetings to ensure accountability and timely follow-up.

Presentation & Communication

Design and update PowerPoint decks and visual presentations for internal and external use.

Support in preparing grant materials, reports, and promotional assets using Canva or PowerPoint.

Proofread and format key documents to maintain brand consistency.

Community & Program Engagement

Serve as the first point of contact for program participants, mentors, and partners with professionalism and warmth.

Support onboarding and communication with new members.

Assist in collecting testimonials, data, and feedback from program participants to improve member experience.

Qualifications & Skills

Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Canva (or similar design tools).

Project management skills and familiarity with tools like Trello, Asana, or Monday.com.

Customer service orientation with the ability to manage sensitive communications.

Open-minded and comfortable working across generations and cultures.

Creative eye for design, storytelling, and presentation.
