Position Title: Administrative Assistant & Office Assistant
Reports to: Senior Executive Assistant
Status: Temporary to Permanent, Non-Exempt
Location: Cambridge, MA & Watertown, MA

Position Summary: We’re seeking a highly organized and proactive Administrative Assistant & Office Assistant to support our Stratus team members and daily office operations enabling efficiency across the company. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, enjoys problem-solving, and takes pride in creating a cohesive and welcoming workplace.

This is a fully onsite, temp-to-perm opportunity. Daily work location will be in either Cambridge or Watertown based on business needs.

Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Administrative Support:
    • Provide calendar management, meeting coordination, and travel arrangements for executives or team members
    • Manage expense reports and invoice processing
  • Office Management:
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for all office-related needs
    • Maintain office supplies, equipment, and vendor relationships
    • Oversee facility needs (mail, deliveries, maintenance coordination)
    • Manage onboarding/offboarding logistics for employees (workspace setup, access badges, etc.)
  • Culture & Team Support:
    • Help plan, organize and execute team events, meetings, and celebrations
    • Support internal communications and general office announcements
    • Maintain a tidy, functional, and welcoming office environment

Qualifications include:
  • 3+ years of experience in an administrative or office support role
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications (e.g. Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneDrive, SharePoint)
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Collaborative, optimistic, resourceful, and strong problem-solving skills
  • Must be able to laugh and contribute to a positive work culture
Preferred (but not required):
  • Experience supporting a start-up or fast-paced team
  • Familiarity with tools like Concur, Slack
