Primary Objective: In broad terms, briefly state the major purpose of primary objective of this position.

Perform a variety of tasks and administrative support duties as directed by the manager or supervisor.

Major Function and Scope: Using brief narrative statements, describe each major function of responsibility explaining the scope of the function as appropriate.

  • Provide secretarial, administrative, and clerical accounting support including but not limited to:
  • Managing phone system and organizing messages
  • Responding to customer inquiries and redirect all necessary calls
  • Assisting in arranging meetings as well as preparing agendas and required material
  • Preparing various weekly, monthly, and yearly reports as required
  • Summarizing, monitoring, and distributing monthly budget to actual reports for management review
  • Creating Power Point Presentations for meetings as required
  • Ordering office supplies, process and track invoices and expenditures
  • Providing ad hoc analyses as needed
  • Attend any job-related training deemed necessary by supervision
  • Follow all established standard operating and safety procedures as well as company policies
  • Perform general housekeeping duties as necessary
  • Perform other tasks assigned by management

Type of Experience and Knowledge:

Knowledge, Experience, Certifications: Describe the education, knowledge required, years of experience, specific skills and abilities required to do the job on a fully competent basis.

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Successful completion of all required on the job training
  • Successful completion of all required health and environmental safety training
  • May be required to use department specific database systems such as: Microsoft Suite, AS400, Locus Notes
  • General knowledge of accounting (JDE a plus)
  • 2-5 years of experience in the field or in a related area
