Job summary

Qualifications

  • Ability to manage tasks independently and maintain high standards of work quality.
  • Demonstrates responsibility, conscientiousness and organization with interest in health science research.
  • Excellent computing skills including MS Word and PowerPoint.
  • Previous experience as an administrative assistant.
  • Ability to learn and perform website updates and design posters.
  • Comfort with standard office and AV equipment.
  • Knowledge of APA style; familiarity with university library systems preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage appointments and terminations of trainees on the NIH website.
  • Coordinate travel and reimbursements for trainees.
  • Purchase supplies and software for trainees.
  • Coordinate the lecture series and maintain the program website.
  • Prepare annual progress reports and assist with references and presentations using Word and PowerPoint.
  • Provide assistance to the Chair of Health Psychology as needed.
