Community College of Vermont is seeking an administrative support specialist to assist the academic team and campus communities. duties include catalog maintenance, professional development support, enrollment tasks, scheduling for the academic dean team, and coordinating special events.
You will respond to inquiries, organize projects, and supervise student workers as needed. The role requires a high school diploma with 1–3 years clerical experience, strong customer service, and proficiency
Provide technical and administrative support for the academic team. Exhibit exceptional customer service to students, faculty, staff, and community members. Utilize systems and software to support academic team tasks such as maintenance of the college catalog, organization and administration of professional development activities, contract creation, educational supply ordering, updating of web content, and other tasks as determined. Develop proficiency with technical platforms and software applications and identify opportunities for efficiencies in administrative tasks. Provide administrative support for enrollment management. Coordinate schedules for the academic dean team and maintain a schedule of recurring tasks. Reply to inquiries and requests for information. Organize and coordinate special projects such as semester activities, workshops, fairs, dinners, mailings, and/or meetings. Assist in determining date, time, location, and agenda. Supervisory Responsibility: May direct, coordinate and supervise student workers.
