Service Steel Aerospace, a unit of Reliance Inc., is seeking an Administrative Assistant to support multiple departments in Wichita, KS. The role emphasizes accuracy in billing, inventory tasks, HR support, and strong customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates are detail oriented with proficient Microsoft Office and Teams skills, and a commitment to excellent internal and external service. Training is provided as needed.

Responsibilities

• Match bills of lading with shipping packets for billing.
• Process shipping packets through the billing module and prepare invoice edits.
• Assist with month-end closing procedures and inventory reconciliation.
• Scan and electronically file completed billing packets using Laserfiche.
• Update receivers and process inventory transactions in the company system.
• Answer and direct incoming telephone calls professionally.
• Assist customers by providing order status updates and responding to inquiries.
• Order and maintain office supplies.
• Provide administrative support for Human Resources, including filing, onboarding paperwork, and other HR-related tasks as assigned.
• Perform other administrative duties as needed to support various departments.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Administrative Assistant to join our team to support multiple departments. This role is responsible for a variety of administrative, billing, inventory, customer service, and HR support functions. The ideal candidate is dependable, able to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and committed to providing excellent internal and external customer service.

Key Responsibilities
