Job summary

SCP Health is seeking an administrative professional to manage scheduling for executives, meetings, calls, and travel, while preparing reports and maintaining accurate documentation. The role requires proactive communication and efficient handling of office workflows.

You will support remote-based leaders, collaborate with other admins, and ensure adherence to budget, policy, and records management standards in Lafayette, LA. A High School diploma is required, with a Bachelor's degree preferred.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience supporting executive leaders.
  • Experience supporting remote-based leaders.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee scheduling of appointments, meetings, calls, conferences, travel.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, data sheets, and materials ensuring accuracy.
  • Screen and direct calls and other communications.
  • Operate general office machines and equipment.
  • Order supplies within budget and policies.
  • Maintain records per retention policy for hard copy and electronic reports.
  • Assist with special projects and administrative support as required.
  • Collaborate with other administrative professionals on projects.
  • Provide other responsibilities as required.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Oversee the scheduling and management of appointments, meetings, calls, conferences, travel, and other events.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, organization charts, data spreadsheets and other documents and materials confirming accuracy of information and format.
  • Manage calls and other communications by screening, routing, and directing as appropriate.
  • Operate general office machines and other office equipment.
  • Oversee ordering of supplies, materials, and other office equipment in adherence to budget and policies.
  • Maintain and adhere to record retention policy for both hard copy and electronic reports and correspondence.
  • Assist with special projects and other administrative support needs, as required.
  • Collaborate with other administrative professionals on projects, coverage, events, and other activities.
  • Assist with other responsibilities and activities, as required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Advanced use of Microsoft Office to include Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
  • Adept at creating spreadsheets, presentations, various correspondence, and other documents.
  • Ability to operate standard office machines.
  • Effective and professional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Self‑directed with the ability to think analytically and effectively problem solve.
  • Effectively works independently and collaboratively with others at all levels.
  • Ability to manage confidential information, maintain office records and files, and follow record retention procedures.
Education

High School diploma or GED, required. Bachelor’s degree, preferred.

Work Experience / Qualifications

2 or more years of experience supporting executive level leaders. Previous experience supporting remote‑based leaders.

Location and Compensation

Primary location: SCP Office in Lafayette, LA. Pay range: $16.00 - $23.00 USD per hour. This range represents the anticipated base salary for this role. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and internal equity considerations.
