Job summary

Job description

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative and clerical support to attorney.
  • Manage calendars and schedule appointments, meetings, hearings, and other legal matters.
  • Coordinate scheduling with clients, attorneys, courts, opposing counsel, and other parties as needed.
  • Prepare, organize, scan, copy, and file legal documents and correspondence.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail, including preparing documents and packages for mailing.
  • Maintain organized electronic and physical files.
  • Assist with document preparation and formatting.
  • Answer and direct phone calls and respond to routine correspondence.
  • Assist with client communications and provide professional customer service.
  • Track deadlines, appointments, and important case-related dates.
  • Perform general office administration and maintain an organized and professional office environment.
  • Assist attorney with various administrative and legal support tasks.
  • Maintain confidentiality of client information and sensitive legal matters.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Required:
  • Prior experience working in a legal office is required.
  • Paralegal education, knowledge, or prior paralegal experience is a bonus.
  • Familiarity with legal terminology, court procedures, and legal documents is preferred.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general office technology.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Professional, dependable, and team-oriented.
