Scion Staffing is leading a search for a 6-month contract Administrative Assistant position for our client, a well-known construction company in San Francisco, CA. This is a part-time (24 hours/week), onsite position.
Responsibilities
- Answer and direct phone calls
- Organize and schedule appointments
- Distribute email and mail
- Assist in the preparation of regular reports
- Develop and update spreadsheets for tracking purposes
- Update and maintain office policies and procedures
- Order office supplies
- Provide general support to visitors
- Act as the point of contact for internal and external clients
- Support management other administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications
- 1 year of proven experience as an Administrative Assistant, or Office Assistant
- Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
- Working knowledge of office equipment
- Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel in particular)
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
Compensation
This opportunity offers a pay rate of $21-23/hour, depending on experience.
