Job Description: Business Administrator (Security Product Management)
We are seeking a highly proactive, customer service-driven Business Administrator to support a fast-paced product management team within our Security organization. In this role, you will act as a critical enabler of team effectiveness, partnering closely with leadership to manage daily operational rhythms, coordinate on-site logistics, and foster a highly collaborative, well-organized environment.
- Job Type: Contract (40 hours/week, Monday–Friday)
- Duration: Extension possible based on performance and business needs
- Overtime: None
- Equipment: Standard hardware (laptop, mouse, headset, external monitor) will be provided.
Typical Day & Key Responsibilities:
- Team Operations & Admin Support: Perform complex administrative tasks for multiple levels of management with high accuracy and discretion. Serve as the primary department contact.
- Event Planning & Morale: Organize and execute team morale events, off-sites, catering, and engagement activities.
- On-site Logistics: Manage office space coordination, physical logistics, and vendor management.
- Procurement & Budget Tracking: Track budgets, manage purchase requests, and handle the procurement of goods/services (computer equipment, office supplies, reference materials).
- Special Projects: Support cross-functional team initiatives and handle physical requirements including the ability to lift up to 20 lbs as needed for events or office supply management.
Candidate Requirements
Must-Have Qualifications (Disqualifiers)
- Location: Must currently reside in Washington State, within a ~30-mile radius of the Puget Sound worksite. (No relocation candidates will be considered).
- On-site Availability: 100% on-site presence required (5 days a week).
- Experience: Prior professional administrative experience is required.
- Tenure: Must have at least 10–18 months of tenure remaining.
Top 3 Hard Skills Required
- Microsoft 365 Suite (1–2 years): High proficiency in Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
- Event Planning & Execution (1–2 years): Experience organizing team events, off-sites, and leadership meetings.
- Customer Service (1–2 years): Proven background in a customer-facing or corporate support environment.
