Administrative Assistant
High school diploma or GED and one year of increasingly responsible clerical experience. Comparable combination of education and experience may be considered. Must successfully complete pre-employment background process. Ability to perform a variety of moderately complex secretarial and clerical tasks while exercising independent judgment. Effective verbal and written communication. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry. Willingness to participate in the agency, demonstrate team participation and a workplace philosophy that enriches staff’s ability to reach goals, and provide a high level of customer service. Ability to build and maintain positive, collaborative relationships with colleagues, other agencies, and the public. Present a professional appearance and communicate with others in a respectful and approachable way.
