American Iron & Metal Co. in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a dependable Data Entry & Operations Clerk to support data management, logistics, and customer service within a 100% onsite team. You will log information, print reports, and document vehicle weights to ensure accurate invoicing and compliance.

The role emphasizes data accuracy, teamwork, and safe, organized work habits. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus, MS Office proficiency required, and the schedule is Monday through Friday,

Qualifications

• Experience with data entry and MS Office applications.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
• Organized, responsible, independent, and resourceful.
• Experience working as a scale operator or processing weight readings is an asset.
• Ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Log information accurately into a centralized database to ensure data integrity and operational efficiency.
• Create and print various data documents including reports, manifests, and other essential paperwork required for daily operations.
• Record the weights of incoming and outgoing vehicles, maintaining precise documentation for compliance and billing purposes.
• Calculate costs for drivers based on vehicle weight, using established formulas and rate structures to ensure accurate invoicing.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized working environment, adhering to safety protocols and contributing to a productive workspace.
• Greet customers and provide excellent customer service, ensuring a positive experience through professional communication and helpful support.
