Airgas is Hiring for an Administrative Assistant in Orlando, FL!

Job Summary:

The Administrative Assistant provides administrative support and assists with various tasks related to office operations and procedures. In this role, you will be responsible for the daily input of driver shifts, organizing office operations, maintaining files, processing paperwork, and performing other assigned administrative duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Terminal Operations
  • Execute and own the process of daily input and auditing of driver shifts to complete the Trip Confirmation process. Train and assist drivers on applicable new procedures and paperwork. Travels to support training initiatives as required. Processes daily, weekly, and monthly paperwork and reports as necessary.
Office Administrative Support
  • Provides administrative support for terminal staff / management, responds to inquiries and requests via email and telephone. Organize office operations and procedures including providing customer service, billing, purchase orders, payables, and payroll. Maintains supplies inventory level; anticipate needed supplies; place and expedite orders for supplies; and verify receipt of supplies.
Safety and Compliance
  • Works safely and complies with all company DOT safety standards and rules, assists with and attends mandatory monthly safety meetings.
  • Assist with facility audits, maintain and file Industrial, Medical, FDA and Distribution files.
  • Assists terminal management with facility Emergency Action Plan as needed.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Required Education:
  • High school diploma or or the equivalent required, Associate's degree preferred.
Required Length & Type of Experience:
  • At least 1 year of clerical / administrative support experience required.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Ability to learn and become proficient (Intermediate) in Google Applications (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms).
  • SAP experience preferred.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
