Almstead Tree and Shrub Care Co. is seeking a highly organized Administrative Assistant to support our Sales Arborist and front-office operations in New Rochelle, NY. Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Administrative Assistant or similar role.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Communications, English, Journalism, Marketing or related field preferred.
• Proven ability to prepare proposals, reports and business correspondence.
• Strong customer service orientation and client relationship skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with attention to grammar and professionalism.
• Excellent organizational, multitasking and time management abilities.

We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and customer-focused Administrative Assistant to support our top-performing Sales Arborist. In this key role, you will help drive operational efficiency, ensure exceptional client service, and contribute to the seamless coordination of sales and administrative activities. As an Administrative Assistant, you will serve as a central point of coordination between clients, sales arborists, and internal teams. You will be responsible for preparing professional client proposals, managing communications, coordinating schedules, maintaining accurate customer records, and supporting daily business operations. Success in this role requires strong written and verbal communication skills, exceptional organizational abilities, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Your responsibilities will include:

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in an Administrative Assistant, Executive Assistant, or similar administrative support role
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Communications, English, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field preferred
• Proven experience preparing professional proposals, reports, presentations, and business correspondence
• Demonstrated commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and building positive client relationships
• Experience in a service-based industry is a plus
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to grammar, accuracy, and professionalism
• Strong organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize competing deadlines
• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
• Professional demeanor, sound judgment, and outstanding interpersonal skills
