Job summary

Caymas Owners Association in Naples, FL, part of Troon, is seeking a full-time Administrative Assistant who is eager to learn and contribute in a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization.

You will perform secretarial and clerical tasks, answer phones, file, prepare reports, take minutes, and support the department manager. A high school diploma is required, with 0–3 months related experience; Microsoft Word and Excel skills are helpful.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED with 0–3 months related experience or training.
  • Ability to read and speak English; communicate clearly in writing and verbally.
  • Experience with standard office software is helpful.

Responsibilities

  • Perform secretarial duties for the department manager (filing, phones, messages).
  • Type, copy, compose routine correspondence and take meeting minutes.
  • Distribute daily mail and maintain the filing system.
  • Answer phones and assist the public with information about the department/facility.
  • Prepare summaries and reports; complete special projects as assigned.
  • Maintain regular and reliable attendance; perform other duties as required.

Caymas Owners Association, located in Naples, FL , is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a Full-Time Administrative Assistant ! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon , you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.

General Purpose:

Performs secretarial and administrative duties in association with and as directed by the Department Manager.

  • Performs various secretarial duties for the department manager such as filing, answering phones and taking messages, and with other similar tasks.
  • Performs clerical duties that may include typing, copying, composing routine correspondence and taking minutes at meetings.
  • Distributes daily mail and maintains filing system.
  • Answers telephone and assist the general public with information about the department and/or facility.
  • Prepares summaries and reports.
  • Completes special projects and related duties as assigned by the department manager.
  • Regular and reliable attendance.
  • Performs other duties as required.

Education/Experience:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Physical Demands:

Typical office environment, occasionally stands and walks, frequently sits. Typically requires routine use of personal computer and general office equipment.

Noise level is moderate.

Certificates/Licenses:

No certifications or licenses are required.

Job Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Preferences

  • Ability to read and speak English may be required in order to perform the duties of the job (e.g. the associates may be required to communicate with English speaking customers or co-workers, the manuals for the equipment the associates may use are in English).
  • Knowledge of software applications such as Microsoft Word and Excel helpful.
  • Exceptional organizations skills; maintains accuracy and neatness; ability to multitask.
  • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing. Ability to compose letters and to facilitate phone calls and general inquiries sensibly.
