Boutique Fort Worth commercial real estate law firm seeks a proactive administrative assistant to support its transactional practice. The ideal candidate has experience in real estate, corporate law, commercial lending, or a similar field. Because the role includes both billable client work and internal administrative responsibilities, the successful candidate will be adaptable, service-oriented, and willing to assist wherever needed.

Responsibilities:
- Provide support to attorneys, paralegals and legal assistants for acquisitions and dispositions of commercial properties, financing transactions and land development.
- Conduct initial research for new client matters and provide the results to the supervising paralegal or attorney.
- Calculate critical dates for acquisitions, dispositions, lease agreements, and lending transactions and maintain calendar of same.
- Proofread legal and banking documents.
- Review purchase and sale contracts, leases, and land title documents.
- Create and maintain document/task checklists for real estate transactions.
- Prepare initial drafts of closing documents under the supervision of an attorney or paralegal.
- Maintain up-to-date time reports to ensure accurate client billing.
- Submit documents for electronic recording in the applicable public records and track each submission through confirmation.
- Assist in the formation of corporate entities and preparation of related documents.
- Perform other administrative tasks as assigned.
Qualifications/Competencies:
- Prior experience in corporate law, real estate law, commercial lending, or a closely related field is preferred.
- Strong ability to communicate clearly, both orally and in writing.
- Advanced Knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to learn new software programs.
- Strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task and move quickly from one assignment to another and take responsibility for projects from inception to completion.
- Strong interpersonal skills including tact and diplomacy to maintain effective relationships with a diverse group of attorneys, clients, and outside contacts.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Self-motivated professional with the ability to work independently and collaboratively with others in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule:
- Full-time, Monday through Friday, eight hours per day.
Compensation:
- $40,000 annually.
