Job summary

The Idaho Youth Ranch is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting Idaho's youth through shelter, counseling, and community programs. The Administrative Assistant for Anchor House provides clerical, administrative, and operational support to Adoptions, Counseling, and Family Resource Center, helping to nurture hope, healing, and resilience.

This full-time position requires a high school diploma and at least 21 years of age, with a valid state driver's license.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have a valid state-issued driver's license or obtain one within 15 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Greets telephone callers and visitors in a friendly and helpful manner.
• Accepts inquiries and referrals for Anchor House services using excellent customer services skills and communication.
• Performs intake procedures and schedules new cases as a follow through of the inquiry process.
• Maintains client records ensuring the accuracy and confidentiality of information.

Must Haves

• Possess a High School diploma or equivalent
• Must be at least 21 years of age

• Experience in the mental health/social services field

This position will have a schedule of Mon, Wed, Fri between 8am and 5pm OR Monday - Friday, 1:30pm - 5:30pm.

As a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit, the Idaho Youth Ranch is a qualifying employer for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PLSF) program. The PLSF offers student loan forgiveness on qualifying loans under specific conditions. Speak with your loan provider for more information.
