Signode Industrial Group is seeking an Administrative Assistant to support Operations by coordinating compliance, safety, and administrative tasks for the facility. The role assists the Operations Manager with daily activities related to employee safety and regulatory compliance, helping ensure a safe and efficient workplace.
Key duties include coordinating hearing tests, lead testing, and fit testing programs, maintaining employee records, and updating compliance tracking.

The hourly wage for this position ranges from $26.65 - $33.35 and varies based on specific responsibilities and geographic location. Starting hourly rate within this range will be determined based on the candidate's experience, qualifications, and/or skillset.
The Administrative Assistant plays a critical role in supporting Operations by coordinating and managing key compliance, safety, and administrative functions that contribute to the overall success of the facility. This position assists the Operations Manager with daily activities related to employee safety and regulatory compliance, helping ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
Key responsibilities include coordinating annual hearing tests, lead testing, and fit testing programs, including scheduling, communication with service providers, maintaining employee records, and updating compliance tracking lists. The Administrative Assistant is also responsible for maintaining records related to water reclamation, IEPA requirements, waste management activities, and waste manifests to support environmental compliance efforts.
Additionally, the role administers weekly and monthly safety programs, tracks participation and completion, and helps drive the organization's safety culture through effective communication and recordkeeping. By ensuring timely compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements, the Administrative Assistant enables operational leaders to focus on production, employee development, and continuous improvement initiatives.
High School diploma or GED.
