Provide administrative support to the assigned facility, including processing chemical delivery documentation, data entry, and general office support.
High school diploma or GED required. 1+ years of office experience and strong knowledge of MS Excel preferred.
Valid driver's license required. May run errands, go to the post office, and pick up office supplies.
Lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds chest high. Must be able to reach, push, pull, and grasp with arms and hands. Will require daily standing, crouching and/or kneeling, sitting, climbing, and walking, although the position is mostly sedentary. Repetitive motion of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers. Must be able to talk, hear, and see. Must be able to assess accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of work.
Indoor shop/office setting, with laboratory onsite. Includes potential exposure to chemicals, dust, odors, fumes, oil, and gases. Noise level is typically low to moderate.
Must be proficient in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English. Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as providing excellent customer service. Proficiency in technical writing and communications. Understand all audiences and develop appropriate communication solutions. Skilled at cultivating and managing relationships.
This position requires strong organizational and time-management skills to handle frequent interruptions, multi-task, and prioritize competing responsibilities throughout the day. Close attention to detail is essential, particularly when entering chemical inventory data, processing shipping documentation, and maintaining accurate facility files. The role also calls for sound judgment and basic problem-solving ability to work through routine issues independently, with minimal supervision once trained.
Efficiently navigate a web browser, mobile applications, electronic timesheets, and Microsoft Office 365 Suite (Excel, Outlook, Teams, Word, SharePoint, PowerPoint, OneNote, etc.). Experience in creating and updating spreadsheets with attention to detail. Experience with Microsoft Great Plains and/or Business Central preferred.
