Job summary

City of San Jacinto seeks an Administrative Analyst to support the Department of Public Works & Utilities with complex administrative, financial, and analytical tasks. You will develop and coordinate water conservation and related programs, prepare grant proposals, and assist with budget and purchasing activities.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in public or business administration and at least three years of experience at an Administrative Assistant level, with preference for water

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, or a closely related field.
• Three years of experience comparable to an Administrative Assistant.
• Experience with water utility administration and grants is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develops and coordinates the Department's Water Conservation Program and related community education.
• Develops grant proposals and funding applications for projects such as water conservation and park rehabilitation.
• Researches, applies for, and manages grant funding sources; interfaces with agencies.
• Assists in the preparation of the Department Budget and purchasing activities.
• Reviews legislation to determine effects on operations and presents recommendations.
