ADMINISTRATION OFFICE SECRETARY
A twelve-month secretarial position at the Highlands Administrative Center.
Essential Functions:
- Responds to inquiries (including telephone calls and emails), providing information and facilitating communication among the parties and/or providing direction.
- Provides clerical support to Central Office Administrators.
- Maintains the daily/weekly/monthly calendars to coordinate the scheduling of work-related appointments, activities, meetings, etc.
- Maintains calendar of school district events for the purpose of coordinating and scheduling district activities.
- Generates requisitions and works with the Business Office to process ordering of materials, resources and supplies.
- Engages with vendors as required.
- Processes incoming mail, sorting items in terms of importance and known priorities; sends outgoing mail.
Additional Duties:- Performs other related duties, as assigned by the Administrator.

- Organizational, scheduling, and time management skills.
Qualification Profile:Any combination of education and work-related experience providing the required skill and knowledge for successful performance would be qualifying.
Typical qualifications would be equivalent to: (a) Graduation from high school, (b) Associates degree with course work in business, word processing, office procedures and record keeping preferred, (c) Successful experience of an increasingly responsible nature in public service, and administrative assistance or secretarial position.
