Job summary

Trustbridge Hospice, a member of Empath Health, is seeking an organized and friendly Front desk/Administrative Support (Inpatient) to join our team in West Palm Beach. This onsite, entry level, full-time role supports the front desk and ensures a compassionate experience for patients and families during one of life’s most meaningful transitions.

The position offers Monday through Friday, 3:00 p.m – 11:30 p.m.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year in a business office or hospital unit preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills with empathy.
• Proactive, flexible, and self-motivated with compassionate approach.
• Computer skills including word processing; Excel is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors at front desk and answer calls.
• Operate standard office equipment (fax, computer, printer).
• Provide exceptional customer service to patients and families.
• Coordinate admissions scheduling with interdisciplinary team.

Trustbridge Hospice, a member of Empath Health, is seeking an organized and friendly Front desk/Administrative Support (Inpatient) to join our team in West Palm Beach. This position is onsite. This entry level, full-time position works Monday through Friday, 3:00 p.m – 11:30 p.m., supporting the front desk and ensuring a seamless, empathetic experience for patients and families during one of life’s most meaningful transitions. Since 1978, Trustbridge Hospice has cared for more than 200,000 South Florida families. As a community-based nonprofit, we provide 24/7 hospice and palliative care, along with caregiver support and bereavement services for families facing serious illness.

What You’ll Do

• Work the front desk, greet patients and visitors, answer phone calls, and operate standard office equipment including fax, computer, and printer.
• Provide exceptional customer service to patients and families with empathy and professionalism.
• Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary team members to ensure timely and accurate admissions.
• Provide timely and appropriate scheduling for safe and effective patient care delivery.
• Support a compassionate, patient-centered environment that reflects the mission and values of Trustbridge Hospice.

What You’ll Need

• High school diploma or equivalent
• One year of experience working in business office and/or hospital unit, preferable.
• Mastery of essential office skills, superior organization, and effective communicator.
• Sensitive, compassionate, caring, efficient, self motivated, proactive, and flexible.
• Must have computer skills, including word processing and data entry - excel spreadsheet experience a plus.
