The Administrative Supervisor of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine provides full administrative support to the Chief of Pathology, pathologists, and laboratory leadership team. They direct the coordination and supervision of transcriptionists, help develop department policies and procedures, assist in the development of budgets, and coordinate daily operations. They also provide personal secretarial and administrative support to the department such as preparing correspondence in final form, receiving visitors, maintaining files, scheduling meetings, conducting and participating in special projects as determined. Additionally, the Administrative Supervisor attends various committee meetings as required and may be responsible for recording meeting minutes.
