Range: $23.00-$31.58

Primarily responsible for the management of core front office functions necessary for wound care center operations. Core functions includes patient reception, phone calls, scheduling appointments, patient registration in hospital and proprietary wound management databases, insurance verification , HMO procedure authorization, batch charge entry with daily charge verification in multiple data bases, daily patient chart preparation, daily clinical data entry into proprietary wound management data base.
Prepare monthly outcomes reporting for core functions ensuring regulatory readiness and compliance.
Provide medical record management for offsite locations in compliance with all Health Information guidelines.
Perform purchasing duties for materials, supplies.
Handle complaints and inquiries utilizing appropriate chain of command and data reporting program.
Speak and read English at a level that is sufficient to satisfactorily perform the essential functions of the position.
Knowledge of standard office equipment (i.e., calculator, fax, photocopier) and personal computer and computer software skills (i.e., MS Windows, Excel, Access, Word, Powerpoint, internet, e-mail).
Windows computer skills including proficient use of keyboarding, use of mouse or keys for functions such as selecting items, use of drop down menus, scroll bars, opening folders, copying and similar operations required upon employment or within the 1st two weeks of employment to perform the essential functions of the job.
Performs other duties as assigned.
