Job Summary And Qualifications

The Plant Operations Coordinator/Safety Officer is a dual-purpose hybrid role designed to act as both the administrative engine of the Engineering Department and the primary guardian of regulatory safety throughout the campus.

Under the direction of the Director of Facilities Management, this individual serves as the onsite Safety Officer, Environment of Care (EOC) & Life Safety, and Safety Committee Officer. They ensure the facility remains fully compliant with Joint Commission, NFPA, OSHA, EPA, and local building codes. Concurrently, this position manages the day-to-day administrative functions of the engineering office—managing the Engineering Central and Complyos work order systems, processing payroll, tracking budgets, and ordering materials. This role perfectly bridges high-level regulatory compliance with daily hands-on operational support.

What qualifications you will need:
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of related experience in facility maintenance, safety compliance, or an industrial/hospital setting. Must have at least 1–2 years of clerical or administrative office experience
  • High School Graduate / GED
  • Preferred: NFPA Certification
