St. Joseph Hospital in Nashua, NH is seeking a Surgical Administrative Assistant for the Surgical Services department. You will journal/validate all surgical charges, schedule procedures, and handle data collection, entry, and related support functions.
This role works with surgical offices, prepares reports, and maintains records, while staying current with procedures and policies. Strong organization and communication are essential, as is flexibility to assist across the OR team.
The Surgical Services Surgical Administrative Assistant is responsible and accountable for the journaling/validating of all surgical charges, scheduling of surgical procedures when needed, and performing job functions related to data collection, data entry, and management of support functions.
An equivalent combination of education and experience which provides proficiency in the areas of responsibility listed above may be substituted for the above education and experience requirements.
Must possess the physical and mental abilities to perform the tasks normally associated with this position that involves a combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, stooping, and reaching. Occasional lifting/carrying up to 25 lbs. Some stress related to high level of responsibility for quality care.
