WVU Parkersburg is seeking an adjunct Welding Faculty member to teach courses with a schedule that may include evening, weekend, hybrid and online delivery. The appointment is part-time, temporary for one semester and not benefits-eligible, with a teaching load not to exceed 9 credit hours.

Candidates should have at least 5 years of industry experience and an associate degree in Welding Technology or closely related field, or current AWS certifications or equivalent credentials.

  • Current AWS certifications or other recognized industry credentials related to welding instruction.
  • Produce welds of course being taught (SMAW, GMAW, FCAW) during interview.
  • College-level teaching experience preferred.

Welding Adjunct Faculty Position
