Role Overview

As an adjunct faculty member, you will teach courses in welding, focusing on hands‑on training in various welding processes, including MIG, TIG, and arc welding. Your contribution will be crucial in guiding students to develop the skills they need to succeed in the welding industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver instructional lectures and hands‑on demonstrations to effectively teach welding techniques and safety practices.
  • Utilize industry‑standard practices and curriculum to prepare students for real‑world applications and job readiness.
  • Evaluate student progress through assessments, practical exams, and feedback sessions.
  • Create an inclusive and supportive learning environment that encourages student participation and skill development.
  • Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the needs of diverse learners.
Qualifications
  • A high school diploma is required; an associate’s degree or higher in welding technology or a related field is preferred.
  • Industry certification from AWS (American Welding Society) or a similar organization is highly desirable.
Experience
  • Minimum of two years of practical welding experience in a professional setting.
