The college seeks adjunct faculty in Welding to educate and train students in welding processes and safety. This pool will be used for possible future openings across campuses and online formats.
Credit part-time, adjunct faculty teaching positions in Welding. Welding Instructors must possess process and hands-on knowledge of SMAW, GTAW, GMAW, OFC, and PAC processes. Pipe fitting and structural steel experience is desirable. Knowledge of CNC Plasma table is a plus.
Two days or nights per week, per semester. Will teach welding processes and safety as needed for classes being taught. Responsibilities also include lab safety, lab cleanup, and material prep. Opportunities may be available at the Bethlehem, PA campus, the Monroe campus located in Tannersville, PA, and/or online.
Three (3) years of industry experience required. Teaching or training experience is preferred. Some formal education or training is strongly desired. College teaching experience is preferred.
The number of adjunct instructors hired varies from semester to semester, depending on the needs of the department and the College. There may not presently be an adjunct position available at the time of application. When an opening becomes available, the hiring manager will consider this pool of candidates. If hired, official transcripts will be required from all undergraduate and graduate universities attended before a contract is issued.
