SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University is seeking an hourly/part-time Adjunct Instructor / Scan Lab Instructor to teach ultrasound scanning techniques, maintain the scan lab and equipment, and ensure adherence to infection control and accreditation standards on campus in New York.

The successful candidate will administer and score OSCEs on campus, with expectations of clinical experience and RDMS/RDCS certification. Strong communication with students and faculty is essential.

Formación

• Associate's Degree.
• 2+ years of sonography experience.
• Active RDMS and/or RDCS certification.
• Clinical experience.
• Ability to effectively and respectfully communicate orally with student and faculty.

Responsabilidades

• Instruct students and provide feedback on ultrasound scanning techniques.
• Ensure students maintain scan lab and equipment, and practice proper infection control prevention.
• Comply with AIUM and CAAHEP standards and guidelines.
• Administer and score OSCE’s on campus.
